Room 2051 Class Policies

It is expected that students will use common sense and courtesy in all of their classroom behavior. The following guidelines will changes as circumstances make necessary, and severe or continued behavior will result in immediate referral to the dean(s) of students.

Tardies

Students in 2051 classes must follow the school tardy policy. Students will be allowed a maximum of three (3) tardies in class each semester (tardy is defined as not being in the seat assigned when the bell begins to ring).  Further tardies will be referred to the office for disciplinary action.

Dress Code

Students in all 2051 classes must follow the school dress code. No exceptions will be permitted for any reason. Students will be referred to the dean or asked to change attire as appropriate.

Restroom

Students may be allowed a limited number of restroom breaks, with the actual number variable depending on necessity, behavior, etc. No student has a right to the use of the restroom, since that is the purpose of the passing period.

Homework

Homework is regularly assigned and may or may not be graded. Late work will not be accepted (except under special circumstances as explained in class). 


General Rules

1. Use common sense - follow directions, etc.
2. No Cheating - this is an extremely serious offense.
3. Come to class prepared - paper, pen, book(s), folder(s).
4. Students must carry their handbooks at all times.
5. Leave others to themselves (keep your hands to yourself, etc.).
6. Talking is allowed only under appropriate circumstances
7. Gum is not allowed - food is not except under special, prior permission.
8. You and only you are responsible for your actions.
